She is currently pursuing her Doctoral research on the idea of Corporate Social Responsibility in India at Centre For Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She specialises in areas like Indian Politics and Political Economy and takes immense interest in analysing contemporary trends. She has also worked Ananta Centre (Indian desk of Aspen Institute, USA) and Food First Information Action Network(FIAN), India.
