Nora Babalova joined SADF as a Program Assistant in October 2016. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies: Europe-Asia interactions from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Indology with a specialisation in modern Indian languages (Bengali and Hindi) and one in Liberal Arts from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Her research field focuses on EU-India strategic partnership and water management in South Asia. In May 2018, Nora presented a paper on the politics of water management in the Brahmaputra basin at the 12th Congress of the Regional Science Association International, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Goa, India.
