Tehseen Nisar has a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) from The LUISS Guido CarliUniversity, (Libera Universita Internazionale Degli Studi Sociale), Rome, Italy. She was awarded the PhD degree in Political Theory in 2014 from The Centre for Ethics and Global Politics, Department of History and Political Science, Faculty of Political Science. The topic of her dissertation was “The discourses on state and civil society in the context of colonial and post-colonial Narratives: Re-conceptualizing the Civil Society in Pakistan.”
